Day 7 Crayon Roll

Today I made a crayon roll out of some pieces that were too small to make any clothing out of. I am in love with both of the prints. I had written down some things for Mr. C's mini-me for Christmas. A crayon roll was on the list. Next time I need to measure or maybe look at a pattern first. The first and last slot for crayons are a SUPER tight fit. It holds 16 crayons.

You know what is so funny? I made two. I was sitting here thinking now who is going to use the other one? I got on here to ask you to send me your mailing addy! Is it okay if the 2nd one is diff fabric or do they need to be the same?

No you didn't!!!! That's awesome!

It doesn't matter if they match or not. They will fight over them no matter what!

Love the colors. The same thing happened to me with my 1st crayon roll-ups. I don't use patterns and I guess I messed up on my measurements somewhere but the slot on one side was a real tight squeeze and the other end slot was too big. It didn't matter because my son didn't notice :-)

I'm really interested in these. They look uber fun!

Ive been trying to test myself with sewing lately, Do you have a pattern or Tutorial? or do you just pretty much eye them out?

I just kind of made this up yesterday. I will work on a pattern/tutorial this week. (That can be one of my challenge entries). Thank u. It will be my first so I hope it will be helpful. @Atasha I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think I've finally got it to a size that doesn't leave the squished ends.
