This past couple of weeks has been the largest amount of sewing I've done (not small projects). I have to say that transitioning between each outfit I can see improvements. I'm also understanding things that I didn't maybe grasp the first time around. (This was the second time I had made the skirt). I wish I had an endless supply of fabric to be able to sew like this whenever my hear desired. xoxoxoxo
Happy Creating!!!!

Day 244 - 2nd prize almost completed
The Reversible Half Apron.
2nd side is polka dots like the ruffle with the pocket in the B & W Silhouette print. I just need to flip the top sides of the pockets at an angle and add a button. I don't even think I have cute black and white buttons. Boooo..... maybe I should may a tiny bow ?
This was so much fun.

Day 220 & 221 O+S Tea Party Dresses
Friday night I made outfit #2 for my friend Bruce's nieces. This is size 3T. I have one more outfit to go for him. :) The striped piping reminds me of fruit striped bubblegum!
I made another Tea Party dress yesterday with the fabric I got at Ikea with Mr. C. It is also a 3T and will be in my shop soon. :) It reminds me of limeade.
I am sewing again today but I cannot post pictures. So here is a picture of my new love.
Yes I never knew I could be in love with an iron. LOL When you use the steam feature on high it's like getting a facial. Mr. C said it looked like the living room was a dry cleaners.

Making the giveaway prizes
Full Apron for the 1st prize winner. It's packaged and will be shipped on Monday
3rd prize winner
3 ridged scrubbies and 1 exfoliating scrubbie(not pictured), and the choice of 1 of the checkbook covers to the right.
I only have the half apron left to do and I think I'll do it later. I've been trying to get some measurement right for a bag that I saw, so hopefully I'll be able to do that too! I also made more paper envelopes like the first ones as they were sold. I don't even think I posted that here ? I should.
Okay here they are. I truly enjoy making these.

I saw this tutorial on How About Orange and thought it would be perfect for some of the old National Geographic Magazines and Maps that Mr. C has.

I'm going to try something new.
Renee has inspired me to recycle.
A pair of jeans that son grew out of, two tees that teenager had in Goodwill pile and my black cashmere sweater that has a hole in it.
I cut them into pieces to make a purse.
More pictures when I sew it together.

Day 215 Breakfast & Anime Art Bag
This morning I used the french coffee press (12.99, can be used for coffee or tea) we picked up from Ikea yesterday and made and ham and swiss crepes with breakfast. Mr. C also grabbed an apple slicer...so we served apples on the side so he could use the new gadget. Which was pretty impressive for 2.99.
I picked up this anime fabric yesterday at Ikea. I had read about it on True Up and instantly thought of my niece. I was quite aggravated when I got home because it was cut off the bolt wrong and I ended up with an incomplete panel. (The top of her head was on the bottom of my panel. I should have been paying attention. Especially since it was sold purchasing it by panel size). Regardless I am really happy with the bag. The bag is about 3'wide x 2'deep
EXTERIOR VIEWS:
I ended up making her a bag to carry around her art work, art portfolios, art pads, pencils, etc. I'll give it to her when she gives me the rubber stamp drawing she is working on. (hint/hint) ;)
