Day 239 Joe's Quilt Panel Design
I got extremely emotional working on the design of this piece. I've worked on several designs but this is the final design. I've been collecting fabric over the last several months. I'm ready to get started on it. Originally I was going to take apart his original head piece and use it in the construction but after reading the quilt panel submission guidelines I now know that will not work. The headdress will be completely be re-created by quilting fabrics of coordinating shades.

Wow Gail. I don't know the story behind this but that looks incredibly difficult. I can't wait to see it.
Thank you Atasha! ;) Joe was one of my best friends in the whole wide world. He passed away a couple of years ago. I miss him so much! One of his favorite songs was Janet's Together Again.
