2 down 4 more to go

My SIL ordered 6 dresses to be made for her daughter/my niece :-) for their Summer cruise. Since I am taking a week off the flower making I was able to make these on Sunday night.  She doesn't want to spend a lot of money so I am still on the hunt for inexpensive fabric for the remaining dresses.

(Took this before the hemming)
Stripes and flowers Seersucker

I think this is stretch poplin.  It's unusually soft for some reason though

These are really great! I really like working with stretch poplin. The last couple of times that I've worked with it (both the pink bubblegum and the lime were stretch poplin) it was super soft.

Oh wait, might I add that I really hate that first dress hehehe....

I like streth poplin too. I made a nice outfit to sell last year but Alyssa ended up with it and it isn't as soft as this blue floral dress. You would not believe how cheap this fabric was. I should have bought the entire bolt, then I'd have enough to make stuff for my girls. Grabbed it up years ago on clearance sale. It has survived 2 moves LOL
